I am busy with live translation for The International Focusing Institute this week, but I wanted to quickly post about last Sunday’s ride with RECON CR because, well, we did recon! Yay!

After breakfast in Cinchona, followed by a ride down to Colonia del Toro, we headed up to Pital. This road is gravel at first, but is now mostly paved. Though I don’t particularly like straightaways, I enjoyed these a lot. No traffic, nice weather, good riding pace, and pineapple fields.

From Pital, we headed over to Golfito, riding past Piedra Blanca, which has a cool feel to it.
The road to Golfito has a lot of large, loose gravel, but is easy and fun to ride. Once there, we inquired and were told we could continue to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, which we did! 😃Yay!

The road out beyond Golfito is easy gravel, and it turns to route 505. It is paved after about 30 minutes.
We had such a good time exploring this new area and being together. Life is better with friends!
RIDING IN COSTA RICA: FEEL THE BEAUTY. KNOW THE LOVE. LIVE THE POWER.

Song: Life is better with you…
“Woah, woah, life is better with you.
Woah, woah, life is better with you.
And when I think about the things that we’ve been through,
I know just one thing is true, life is better with you.”
Wikiloc: Cinchona, Golfito, Puerto Viejo
