I wasn’t going to go with the guys today because I figured it would be a long trip around the Nicoya Peninsula, going across the “La Amistad” bridge and returning on the ferry. However, I decided I had ridden alone enough last week, and it would be nice to have some company. So, I met them at Rostipollos in Alajuela, and off we went!
Every time I am taken care of on the road it almost brings me to tears. I am so moved by having others protect me or guide me, since I am used to riding alone. It’s nice. 🙂
From Alajuela to the ferry (including breakfast) it took us five hours (7 a.m. – 12 noon). It was almost a 12 hour day for me, but since I made it home before dark, that’s fine. We all had an enjoyable time. The mood was quite relaxed and laid-back. Cool! 🙂
So, that is a doable loop. Paved all the way.
