A few Rejuntados and I met at the Barva, Heredia gas station, to ride to Carrizal>Vara Blanca>San Miguel>Pital>La Florencia>San Ramón. These are lovely, curvy, scenic roads. This post is mostly about my dear friends, to celebrate the camaraderie of having riding buddies.
I was delighted to see my friends, Dave Mejía and Roger Allon, whom I have not seen for several months.

We had breakfast at Soda Poas and yes it was delicious! While there, our friend Humberto called to wish us “Buen Provecho.” Hahaha! Fun touch.
Roger and his KTM 1200!
What a touching surprise it was to see Mucuna monticola pods hanging behind the restaurant. Just that morning I had taken a photo of myself with my M. monticola necklace to appreciate the seeds –it is among the first drift seed necklace I had ever made!! (Click here to see my Tropical Jewels necklaces.)
Seeing the pods reminded of of Charles, of course, and our magical days of looking for seeds and pods all over Costa Rica. Fun times we had!

We separated in San Ramón, and a few of us went to lunch at Rest. El Paraíso, a bit past the exit to Palmares.
On this ride, Storm! crossed the 50,000 kilometr milestone. 50,000 kilometers of fun and adventrue in the last 18 months. Yay!! How blessed am I to ride in Costa Rica!
RIDING IN COSTA RICA:
