Another Brilliant Flash of the Obvious! (Route 113>116>112 to unknown road)

It was another beautiful morning, and I was trying my best to resist my craving to go for a ride, since I had errands to run. Suddenly, I had a brilliant flash of the obvious! I could go for a short ride, then take care of business! Just because I LOVE riding in Costa Rica doesn’t mean that I always have to ride for 6-8 hours. I can take short rides as well. Obviously! Hahaha!

So, off I headed up my neighborhood road, Calle Gallito, which is Route 113, planning to go visit a road I love with great views near San Jeronimo, off Santa Elena and route 32.

Route 113 winds its way around Montecillos and Bosque de la Hoja.

I then took a short-cut to Concepción de San Rafael, then San Isidro. At which point, I decided to take the road that parallels Route 112 (from San Isidro to Route 32), Calle Linda Vista.

I somehow ended on a nice country lane which eventually went up the mountain.

The road dead-ended. But I enjoyed the views of the country side as well as of San Jose, coming down.

Then, I went to see a farm I love, thinking I could still make my original plan.

However, I decided to turn around, not wanting to be late for the pool. I somehow ended up over near Tibas and Santo Domingo! Hahaha! That’s OK because this is how I discover or re-discover roads.

Yeah. Even though it was a short ride, it was sweet. I felt that nice, easy feeling I love so much. Plus, it’s a lot of fun to discover new roads. Life is good!
