Uh, nope. (Area protegida Tivives.)

Sometimes I wish I were braver. I went into and up the Tivives Protected Zone, but on the second hill, which was quite rutted and muddy, I decided not to continue. 😦 So it goes.

It looked too muddy up there for me to continue, so I gently let my bike slide backwards till I got to a spot where I could turn it around.

I went to Puntarenas and had a bad breakfast there, but had fun riding home on the curves of Route 3.

Breakfast in Puntarenas

Anyhow, there were lots of cars going to the Pacific coast, as it is the last weekend of this little school break. The restaurants in Caldera were packed, so I went to Puntarenas.

Thinking about it later, I probably would have made it up without incident. Storm! is a good, strong, powerful motorcycle, made for that kind of riding. Oh well. I am what I am. 🙂

At least on the way home I felt the power! 🙂
