Esterillos West and East Beaches and Bandera.

I headed over to spend the night at Esterillos Este because I wanted to ride Route 239 up from Parrita. (However, I think I could do this route without spending the night.)  Below are lots of photos.

Almost went to Bijagual, but changed my mind. View from Tiko Restaurant. Route 320.

I first went into Esterillos Oeste and enjoyed it more than the first time I had been there. Both roads in are paved. Once in, it is easy gravel.

To my pleasant surprise, I ran into some girlfriends at the hotel at which I was staying at Esterillos Este.

I then went over to check out Playa Bandera. Getting there involves lots of right and left turns through palm plantations.

I did not stay at Bandera beach. For some reason, I did not feel safe there.

Anyhow, it was a lovely Wednesday, visiting these beaches and meeting up with my friends. As soon as I am at any beach, I am filled with peace and serenity. Lovely.

Today, I took route 239 to Puriscal. That will be the next post you get today. 🙂
