Just another fun Thursday ride one one of my favorite roads! (Well, they are ALL my favorites! Hahaha!)
After breakfast at Hotel Villa Caletas near Jacó, where I like to treat myself to eggs Benedict and the view once or twice a year, I went to Parrita to head on up to Puriscal.
The first part of the road has been scraped and is loose gravel, with one curve that has larger loose rocks in the gravel. The rest is relatively smooth, but with many sections of hard-packed rocks and ruts. The last 18 kilometers before Puriscal are paved.
