Since my motorcycle group is made up of all brands of motorcycles, our member, Dave Mejía, jokingly said we were “rejuntados” (put-together). We thought it was so funny that we now officially call ourselves “Los Rejuntados.” It’s definitely not elegant! 🙂 Quite humble. Hilarious.
For our last trip of the year, we went over The Mountain of Death (Route 2) to Perez Zeledon to Dominical.
Yes, I am making the OK sign OK again, as the new hand symbol for Honda. I think it fits perfectly with the O and the three fingers for Honda wings.
By the time we had lunch at The Hook Up restaurant in Los Sueños, some of us had already been on the road eight hours. Lunch was delicious!
One thing I liked is that we took to alternate routes home: At Nidia’s Restaurant on route 34 we turned right to take route 757 to Orotina. Nice country feel to it. Then, we went up to Desmonte to route three rather than taking The Aguacate from San Mateo. I just love variety while riding!
Yes, it was a fun, long ride with Los Rejuntados. I am grateful to be part of such a light-hearted mix of motorcycle riders. May we have even more fun next year!
Date of ride: Sunday, December 29, 2019. 12+ hours.
