After spending time at the beach at Carrillo, on Wednesday June 17th, I headed out on another fun route to Playa Coyote via the Islita area. I love this up and down gravel road!
I detoured to several beaches and enjoyed the views, everywhere. I even had fun taking one or two wrong turns, as I seem to be doing a lot of lately. Hahahaha!
I was delighted to find Playa Coyote, otherwise known as Costa de Oro. I usually go down to Punta Coyote. I was overjoyed to be the only one on this gorgeous beach and to find my spot, where I could relax and enjoy the peace and beauty for a couple of hours.
Yeah. The golden coast. Lovely.
FYI, there is a gas station in Coyote. Her name is Mari. 🙂 She sells gasoline out of her little shack in her back yard.
The next day I headed out to the Naranjo Ferry.
There were lots of falcons on the road. I took a detour to check out Puerto Viejo.
At the ferry in Naranjo, one of my riding buddies, Dave MejÃa, suggested I ride up to the Paquera ferry. So I did!! This road is being prepared to be paved. Lovely!!

This trip to Carrillo and Coyote was great fun. Oh, how I enjoyed the beauty of that wild area. Yes. Pure WILD JOY!!
I think I need to take these kidns of two-three night trips more regularly.
Life is good!!
