A week or so ago, I rode down to Los Sueños Marina for a burger and discovered La Lanterna restaurant and the general outside patio area downstairs (since The Hook Up was closed). My friend Grettel said that if I was ever there again, to let her know.
So, this morning I spontaneously decided to go have breakfast at La Dolce Vita there. I let Grettel know I was going, and she showed up! It was great to have company for a meal. She sat at another table, so we were 2.5 meters apart.
I had such a peaceful feeling all morning. No traffic. Quiet. Just delightful!
On my way home, I stopped by Playa Agujas, as I often do, just to enjoy the beauty for a bit.
Starting on Saturday, August 15th, I will have eight days of volunteer work for the International Focusing Institute, so I will only be able to take quick morning rides. I was pleased to take this trip today, especially because everything felt so…peaceful, as I said. 🙂
