YES, IT WAS WORTH IT (Rt 239).

Route 239 between Parrita (along the coast) and Puriscal is a gravel road that is worth riding more than once because of the views.

So. Yes. It’s a rough road,  because of the rocks and gravel. But it sure is worth riding.
