See me, feel me. (Turrucares-Puriscal-Orotina)

After breakfast at what used to be Manolo’s Restaurant in La Garita, I took Route 136, from Turrucares to Puriscal. It is now paved. The last time I went, it was gravel. (Just Do It!)

Route136_1

bridge_rt136It only has a thin layer of pavement, so it has washed away in many parts, and the road has many holes in certain spots. Not bad though. The sharp, hairpin curve is easier now. 馃檪

It was not a spectacular ride. Just nice to ride on a road that is not overly developed. There were lots of cyclists out on it today.

I liked the tree (middle).

From Puriscal, I went to Orotina on Rt 137.

A friend came along while I was taking this photo. That is why it is nice for me to join motorcycle groups, because I make rider friends. Nice treat for me on my rides to bump into someone!
SugarCaneFlowers
Nice to see sugar cane flowers off of Rt 27 on the way home.

Most definitely, one of the things I love most about my rides is stopping to take photographs. I can then feel the wind, hear the quiet, take it all in. Just love it!

Donkeys
I had some time to kill so I went to feed the donkeys in Belen.

My son, James Doga.

I didn’t sing any songs while riding today! Hahaha! But the one that is coming to me now is: See me, feel me, touch me, heal me.
