Juanilama Road from Salinas to Esparza – Rt 622

I apologize for posting twice. I wanted to make the posts shorter and to separate them by route.

I came home today from Caldera on Rt 622 from Salinas (Caldera) through Juanilama to Esparza ( (after my Calle Chompipe trip — see previous post).

I like Rt 622 and have taken it many times in both directions.  Like many roads in Costa Rica, it has a lovely country feel to it. However, next time I go to Caldera, I will take Route 755 home should I wish to make the trip shorter.

I love Rt 131 from Esparza to San Mateo! Smooth sailing! So picturesque.

It was foggy up at Casita de Cafe on my return. 

Overall, a good day. Happy to have found a new road (Calle Chompipe).
