Bahía Salinas

The road from Miravalles to La Cruz, then down to Bahía Salinas, Guanacaste, is all paved.

As I was riding, I thought, “Save the trees,” and was happy to see the big Guanacaste tree in the middle of the road in Liberia. It seems they appreciate it and kept it, despite the road. 🙂

Soon the volcanoes were far away.

I was surprised to see that La Cruz had an ocean view of Bahía Salinas.

I had a wonderful time today, taking it easy on different beaches.

Playa Copal. (I think!)

Since the fan was only blowing hot air in my room, I spent several hours on Playa Papaturro. The ocean water was cooler than I expected. It simple splendid for me — so relaxing.

Shade
Found a bit of shade!

Towards the end of my lovely time, two elderly gents came by at different times. One rides a Kawasaki 650. Good thing I am not looking for love in all the right places! Hahaha!

Turns out he parked his bike right next to mine at the hotel where I am staying. 🙂

KLRandStorm

A bit heart-breaking to see a KLR 650 next to Storm! Makes me want a riding partner. Sigh! Best to accept what is and keep enjoying my life to the fullest, alone, as I do!

Yeah. Nice, easy day. Life is good!

I had a song earlier, but I can’t remember it.. What comes to mind now is: Carried Away.

FEEL THE BEAUTY. KNOW THE LOVE.
