Tarcoles River Mouth

Last week (March 9th to the 13th) I had a bad cold. Unusual for me. And odd to have it during this COVID-19 pandemic. It feels as if the world is tilting out of balance. In addition to containing this, I also hope we can survive the financial chaos that is coming.

But, fortunately my cold did not last. On Sunday, my friend Humberto and I went to Jaco for breakfast, then to Guacalillo beach. It was lovely to spend the day doing what I most love with a friend.

Jaco

Things are quite dry right now in Costa Rica. And still beautiful.

Happy to see my friend in the mirror! 🙂

Humberto had never been to the Tarcoles river mouth at the end of the road.

We laughed because it seemed to take forever to get there, but just a few minutes to return.

The heat of summer felt good. I love the light of summer, my favorite of two seasons in Costa Rica. 🙂

Bluff

Yeah. It was a quick ride, but fun as always. We came home through La Ceiba, a new road for Humberto. Nice views, gravel, no traffic.

Tomorrow I will probably go on a solitary ride, trusting that riding alone during this suggested “Stay-at-home-and-self-quarantine” time is OK. After all, happiness builds our immune system, no?

FEEL THE BEAUTY. KNOW THE LOVE. LIVE THE POWER.
