Post lockdown ride to the Pacific Coast

Morning

After a week of lockdown, I simply had to go for a ride this morning for my wind therapy.

Oh the horror! Hahaha!

With Storm at the doctor’s getting several things replaced, I headed over to the Pacific coast on my Honda XL 200, to my usual spots: Guacalillo and Tivives beaches.

Yes, I always stop at the same spots for photos. Hahaha! Road to Guacalillo beach.

I still get upset with these. But, of course, I wear them. Breakfast in Caldera.

Since the bolts had fallen off both sides of my rack on my bike, I was happy to see  Alejandro on the road to Tivives. He had helped me with a flat tire once. Yay!!

I collected more driftwood at Tivives. Of course. I could not resist. Then, I headed home on route 755, which is fully paved and simply lovely!

Having found a symbol that captures healing actions to replace addictive or trauma reactions, today I was in what I now call “Fun, Flow, and Flock” mode. 🙂 (Flock because I share my adventures via social media.)

Thanks to Jan Winhall for this symbol.

Yeah!! Nothing like getting out in nature on a motorcycle and heading over to a beach to rest one’s heart and soul! Life can still be good, even in the middle of a pandemic.

RIDING IN COSTA RICA:
FEEL THE BEAUTY. KNOW THE LOVE. LIVE THE POWER.

PS – And yesterday, I did take a detour to the supermarket. 🙂 Via Route 707 from Guacimo to highway 27, then a quick spin to Chucas hydroelectric dam in Balsa, where the water hyacinths are taking over the reservoir.
