Having taken care of lots of errands these days, today I decided to take a spontaneous trip to the coast for lunch. It supposedly is “International Motorcycle Rider Day,” so, why not?! 🙂 Perfect excuse!
Lovely to have the beach to myself. A peaceful, easy feeling.
I found a rock for my rock collection.
On the way back, I decided to go check out Playa Agujas, which I do almost every time I go to Los Sueños. Then, I remembered my friend Robert had shown me an areal shot of the beach next to it, Playa Bochinche. I decided to find it. And, boy was I happily surprised! There were tons of Macaws there!
At some point, all the macaws flew over me and away. Pure magic!

Yes, the ride was superb!! There were no cars on the Aguacate going and returning, and the coastal highwas was smoooooth, fast riding!! Loved it. Lunch was delicious, and I bumped into a girlfriend there. AND..what a delight to go to a new beach and see Macaws. Today, I was filled with joy and gratitude again…gratitude that I RIDE IN COSTA RICA!!
