Today I went to check out a little road on my way to the Pacific coast for breakfast: Calle La Pipasa, right in front of the entrance to Villa Caletas.

At the gas station nearby a guy told me I shouldn’t take it because the rains have left it full of ruts. But when I got there it looked OK.

So down I went.
Yes, it had some ruts, but no big deal. At the bottom it was slippery from rain. I have been getting used to that sensation this rainy season, of sliding on wet mud. I don’t particularly like it, but so far so good.

It’s a very short route, maybe two kilometers.
Then I headed to have breakfast at Playa Hermosa, where I finally saw the famous fat pig and was kept company by sweet dogs with festive collars.
I decided to go to Tulin again. I have lost count of how many times I have gone to this general area these last months. I need to find new routes! 😂

Route 239 was lovely as usual. I can’t wait to do Route 224 from there to Bijagual this next summer!
Since my Mom fell and broke her hip on Sunday, I have been anxious dealing with different things. Riding was just what I needed. So much beauty!!
