I bought some new off-road boots to support my feet more when I ride on gravel.
So I decided to ride route 239 one more time to go check out the road from the Tulín Bridge to Playa Hermosa.
After breakfast in Santa Marta, I headed down to La Gloria again, turned right to go to the Tulín Bridge, then left to go to Hermosa Beach.
What a nice surprise it was to find out that this road is in great shape and flat the whole way!
Much of the road is in fact paved!
Once heading home, I realized it was early so decided to go up to Bijagual from Jacó again. 🙂 I needed more adventure!

I finished my ride with lunch at Palo Santo Restaurant in La Garita. I love the trees there.
Yeah. It was one of those fun, magical days. I felt so at peace coming down from Bijagual, after the full body workout of Route 239 and the joy of riding a new road.
Life is good!
